Scholarship Program

 

Each year, the INMS offers $500 scholarships to attend the upcoming Microscopy and Microanalysis meeting. M&M 2014 will be in Hartfor, CT, from August 3 thru August 7.

Scholarship applications will be judged by a panel of INMS Board members and two scholarships will be awarded: one for a student in biology and a second for a student in materials science.

Any student member of the INMS can apply for one of these scholarships (remember, student membership is free), with the condition that the student's mentor must also be an INMS member. In addition, the student must have submitted an abstract for either a talk or a poster to M&M, 2014 (these are usually due around Feb. 15, 2014) and must submit a scholarship application to one of the following INMS Board members:

Scholarship applications are available from the people listed above and must be submitted by March, 31, 2014. Awards will be announced April 30, 2014.
