Dear INMS Regular and Student Members:

The INMS Spring Meeting May 18, 2011, will be held in conjunction with the Super-Resolution Light Microscopy Workshop sponsored by the Light Microscopy Imaging Center, IU Bloomington. The location is Myers Hall, Room 130. (See directions and parking info below). Here is the schedule for the workshop:

9 am - 10 am  Registration

1:30 pm - 3:30 pm. Afternoon Workshop

Super Resolution Light Microscopy is one of the latest advances in light microscopy and enhances what can be done with light microscopy.  Here is an opportunity to hear and see what this technology can do. Even though your research may not require super-resolution today, you should be aware of its capabilities. Please join us for this important and informative workshop and also avail yourself of the opportunity to meet with other microscopists in our local area.

Thank you to the members who have already registered! I encourage those of you who haven't registered to do so today. The reason for registration is so we will have sufficient food at lunch.

Note: Student Members please register and you will need to pay $5.00 for lunch.

Directions to the Spring Meeting at IU Bloomington, Meyers Hall 915 East 3rd Street

There is a great campus map here.

From the North (Indianapolis)

1. Take State Road 37 south from I-465 approximately 50 miles to the first Bloomington exit (Walnut St. / College Ave.).

2. Take College Ave. south through eight stoplights to Third St.

3. Turn left onto Third St. After about five blocks, Third St becomes one-way in the wrong direction, but the road being followed clearly curves off to the right and becomes Atwater.

4. Follow Atwater past the second parking structure to Faculty Lane. Turn left onto Faculty Lane and left again into the parking garage.

5. Meyers Hall is North of the Atwater Parking Garage.

Note: There are two parking structures between Atwater Ave (one way going east) and Third St (one way going west). There are entrances to either parking structure on the east sides of the structures. The parking structure nearest Meyers Hall is the Atwater Garage but there is also the Henderson/Atwater Garage a few blocks to the west.
